“Designing a Difference:” How Style and Comfort Can Change Lives.

Interior design may seem like a luxury, but when it is offered to a person who would not otherwise be able to afford it, it can have a noticeable and meaningful impact on that person’s mood, daily routine and sense of well-being. Parishioner Carey Dougherty realized this potential and created a nonprofit called HerHaven that seeks to increase access to all the benefits that interior design can provide. During the Adult Forum this Sunday at 10:10 am, Carey shares her impetus for starting the organization and tells how it has made a difference in the lives of the people it serves.
