Every Thursday: a 30 minute service featuring evocative prayers, meditative music, thoughtful preaching, and sharing in bread and wine. "Be still...and know that I am God." Before the Eucharist begins, worshipers are invited to light a candle at the foot of the Christ the Teacher icon.

Keystone House is a Norwalk organization that provides various kinds of support to adults living with psychiatric disabilities, including art classes that help clients express their creative selves. Michelle Beyman, the art instructor who teaches Keystone House classes, leads a tour of the Keystone House show in the ARTWorks Gallery, and tells us from her own experience how transformative art can be for those living with psychiatric disabilities.   9:00pm Compline – Twenty minutes of chant. Compline features soothing, soaring Gregorian Chant in a church lit only by candles. This service lasts for about 20 minutes and is sung entirely by members of our choir. Doors open at 8:30pm for quiet prayer

That’s All She Wrote Wednesday, May 16 at 12:05pm The Thales Piano Trio (Ellen Cockerham Riccio, violin; Sara Bennett Wolfe, cello; Daniel Stipe, piano) returns with a tribute to women composers, spanning the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries, featuring Clara Schumann’s lush romanticism; Jennifer Higdon’s striking Pale Yellow and Fiery Red; and Rebecca Clarke’s Piano Trio, one of the most stunning (and least heard) works for this combination of instruments written in the last century.

A Timeline of the Contemporary Flute Wednesday, June 13th at 12:05pm Showcasing breakthrough 20th century works and thought-provoking pieces by living composers, Seabury Academy alumna and flutist Justine Stephens returns to explore the idiosyncrasies of a selection of contemporary repertoire for flute. Music is from the writing of Varèse, Ferneyhough, Berio, ter Veldhuis, and includes a world premiere by Miggy Torres.
