Ash Wednesday Eucharist

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the 40 days we call Lent–the origin of the word means “to lengthen”, as the Northern Hemisphere turns toward Spring. We will observe it with Solemn liturgies and the blessing and imposition of ashes receiving the reality of our mortality in the contrast of God’s eternal life, and repenting of our sin in the contrast of God’s Grace.. Begin this solemn and holy season with us at at 12:05pm for a service of Holy Eucharist with Imposition of Ashes, with music led by the organ.
