Adult Education

At St. Paul’s, we understand that “walking the walk” is a lifelong journey of exploration and discovery. Worship lies at the core of feeding and supporting us in that journey. Additionally, the opportunity to learn and share in a supportive, prayerful environment with the companionship and guidance of one another is a critical component. The centerpiece of St. Paul’s Adult Education is the Sunday morning series, augmented by seasonal retreats, bible discussions, book studies and an exploration of Christianity leading to Adult Confirmation or Reception in the Episcopal Church. We hope you’ll find something to whet your curiosity and journey in faith.  For further information on any of the opportunities listed here, please contact the Reverend Peter ThompsonAssistant Rector.

Sunday Adult Forum Series
Held weekly from September through May, the Adult Forum series convenes at 10:10 am on Sundays in the St. Hilda Room.  The 30 – 40 minutes sessions are designed to offer some brief overview and presentation of each topic, followed by lively discussion among those in attendance.

Theology Tuesdays
On Tuesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, delve deeper into a theological topic in gatherings based on a recent book and led by Assistant Rector Peter Thompson. Reading the book in advance is helpful, but not required. New Sessions will begin in the fall ~ stay tuned for details.

Race & Social Justice
The Race and Social Justice group has now been engaged in significant and timely discussions about the role of race in our society for quite some time. All are welcome to join the group as it engages in difficult but necessary dialogue around this most relevant of topics each Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 PM in the Guild Room.

The Young Adults of St. Paul’s
