Our 2024 Stewardship campaign numbers continue to grow as we move closer to our target of $375,000. We are also just about halfway through our campaign which will end November 19th and 56 pledges have come in, which is just a little less than half the number we brought in last year. To those who have pledged for the first time or renewed their pledge we say a huge THANK YOU!! Please have your pledge in before Sunday, November 26 when the pledges will blessed during our in gathering Sunday Services. Remember, your pledge will drive the 2024 budget and the programs that we will be able to afford. Please give generously from whatever abundance God has given you. No amount is too small. To those who can add more to their pledge this year we are deeply appreciative of your gifts.

We thank those we helped us secure the 108 coats which were given to Person 2 Person so that those with little could benefit this winter from those of us who had more than enough to give from. We pray that generosity of spirit will extend to your St. Paul’s community.

The Stewardship Gatherings are still happening, and everyone is encouraged to attend. The next two will be hosted by Bill and Sherrie Beke in Norwalk (November 7th ) and Rosemary Dellinger (November 9th).  There is room for more at the Tuesday, November 7th meeting. Sign up HERE or Sunday morning at Coffee Hour after the 9 and 11.00 a.m. masses. You can get a copy of the 2024 Narrative Budget and a pledge card at the gathering you attend or at the front door of the church and at Coffee Hour.

There are also two unique gatherings planned, the first are those who would prefer to meet during the day. On Wednesday November 15th at 12.15 pm right after the Wednesday Eucharist gather in the in the Guild Room for 90 minutes of soup and conversation.  All are welcome.  The second is planned with online worshipers in mind and is open to anyone would prefer to join from the comfort of their home. That session, which will be led by Charlene Higbe, one of our online community members, will be held on Thursday November 16 at 6.30 p.m.

As you are know, being able to live stream worship services has allowed the St. Paul’s community to grow in wonderful ways. Engaging online is a meaningful way to make and strengthen connections beyond the walls of the church. Click HERE to hear from Charlene Higbe who worships regularly with St. Paul’s from her home in Massachusetts. Every voice is important to the community, so even if you are not in the area, you can join one of the Stewardship gatherings  – Charlene will be leading the gathering via Zoom on Thursday, November 16. Click THIS LINK to register to join her. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

We need to hear from each of you so please join one of the remaining conversations. See all other available dates HERE

Faithfully,

Gail Bindley-Taylor,
Stewardship Committee Chair
