Celebrating Absalom Jones

As part of Black history month we remember the Reverend Absalom Jones the first black Episcopal priest and founder of the African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas now located at 6361 Lancaster Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As last year, parishioners from St. Paul’s with join the Diocesan celebration at St. Monica’s Church in Hartford.
