Message from Stewardship Chair

Our Stewardship Campaign for 2024 has begun as of this past Sunday and on the good news side we have already raised our first 73,000 dollars. Our sincere thanks to each of you who have taken the time to pledge online or with a pledge card. We are well on our way toward the magic number of $375,000. Last year we fell short of the pledge amount we hoped to raise, but this year as we are confident that there is more than enough for us collectively to meet this challenge, we are encouraging every member of our community to pledge a weekly, monthly, or annual amount to St. Paul’s. We have made it really easy this year to pledge online (use THIS LINK!) so please ask questions of any member of the Stewardship Committee, learn more, pray and finally give from that place of heart abundance.
If you have already pledged, thank you, as we would not be able to do without each member of our Church doing their bit. The amount you pledge is not important, what is essential is that you do pledge as that gives us the ability to plan and budget our activities especially the work we would like to do to reach out within the wider community in which we live. If you put money in the plate each week, use the opportunity to turn that into your pledge. If you need to decrease your pledge this year that’s fine too, we understand that life happens and if you find that you can increase your giving, please do. Every dollar counts. So, please don’t let anything stand in the way of your giving, if you are worried about keeping your pledge, step out on faith and make the commitment and if for some reason you need to change it later in the year, we can also accommodate that.
If you still have questions please come to one of the Stewardship gatherings which began last night and will run through the month of November. There is an opportunity for every member of St. Paul’s to attend one of our gatherings. You can sign up with THIS LINK or on Sunday mornings at Coffee Hour. Look for one of the Stewardship Committee members who will come around with a clip board and a tag which identifies them as a member of the Stewardship Committee and sign up. There are even online offerings on Zoom. Even if you have pledged, we want to hear from you at one of our gatherings as Stewardship is not just about money. While this is a time to ask questions about how the mission of St. Paul’s is funded, more importantly these gathering are about fellowship and deepening community. So please sign up to be a part of one of the upcoming gatherings.
