Reparations: A Conversation

The 236th Convention of the Episcopal Church overwhelmingly passed Resolution 7, “Acknowledging and Confronting Systemic Racism, White Supremacy, and Anti-Black Bias in Our Nation and the Episcopal Church in Connecticut.” At the 237th convention, a new resolution was passed that acknowledges and reaffirms the previous resolution and, among other things, creates a Reparations Fund. On Tuesday, April 23. The Rev. Dr. Donald Hamer, Co-Convener of the Reparations Task Force along with Task Force members, Valarie Stanley and The Rev. Whitney Altopp will be at St. Paul’s on the Green to lead a regional  conversation about what that means and why it matters. Make plans now to attend this important discussion.
