
The Immigration Action group is fully focused on supporting individuals and families and communities who suffer as a result of immigration policy and enforcement.
The group views this as a moral issue, and not a partisan one.

FYI for the March 28th rally in Stamford:
For those planning to attend the No Kings 3 rally in Stamford on Saturday, March 28th to advocate for more respectful and just immigration policies, the following will be helpful:
- The rally will be held from 12:00 - 1:30:00 in front of the Stamford Courthouse (123 Hoyt Street). Its purpose is “...peaceful and grassroots resistance, focusing on protecting democratic processes."
- This will be a large gathering with 10,000 people expected so be sure to be early and safe. Bring water to stay well hydrated.
- The courthouse is a 10-15 minute walk from the Stamford train station.
- For those driving, car pools are available departing at 11:15 am sharp from the St. Paul’s parking lot. Parking is available at Summer St., Bedford St. and Bell St. public garages.

Past Learning for Action Meetings at St. Paul's:
November 25 at 7pm, St. Paul’s will host a training on the The Red Folder Project, a practical way to directly prepare immigrants for potential detainment, as well as to support individuals and families afterwards. Speakers include Johann Lopez, Norwalk Common Council member and Convener of the Norwalk Immigration Network; and Catalina Samper-Horak, founder of Building One Community, Interim CEO of 4-CT and local advocate.
December 2 at 7pm, Bob Duff, Senate Majority Leader; and Melissa Murray of Indivisible and Good Trouble will describe successful strategies for legislative advocacy at the local and state levels.
