Kick Things Off: Cabaret Organizational Meeting

A date is set, and it's time to start planning! Join us for a night of Fun, Fellowship, and Fundraising — all in support of the St. Paul's Music Program.
This is your chance to jump in on the excitement early. Come to our one-hour Organizational Meeting, hear the full plan, and pick the team that's right for you.
Can't make the Zoom call? No problem — just let one of our Cabaret Chairs know which team interests you, and we'll get you plugged in.
Pick Your Team!
We need hands (and hearts) across every part of the show. Choose the team that fits your talents:
๐จ Setup & Décor
Bring the venue to life before the curtain rises.
- Arrange chairs, tables, and simple centerpieces
- Prepare the chancel stage and the Guild Room green room
- Set up the front sign-in table and refreshment area
๐๏ธ Tech & AV
Keep the show sounding — and looking — sharp.
- Set up sound system, stage lighting, and projector
- Queue arrival music and prep background/lyric slides
- Run sound cues, lighting cues, and manage microphones during the show
๐๏ธ Front of House
Be the friendly face guests see first.
- Greet attendees, check tickets, and hand out programs
- Guide guests to their seats and the refreshment area
- Manage the sign-in table for arriving performers
๐ท Hospitality & Refreshments
Keep everyone fed, refreshed, and happy.
- Set out snacks, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Staff the refreshment tables during arrival and intermission
- Restock throughout the night and tidy up afterward
๐ญ Performer Coordination
Be the calm, organized presence behind the scenes.
- Manage the Guild Room green room to keep performers relaxed and on schedule
- Check performers in and cue them right before they go on
- Relay last-minute schedule changes to the host and tech team
๐ฌ Show Production & Stage Management
Keep the whole night running like clockwork.
- Track the run-of-show to keep everything on pace
- Cue the host between acts
- Connect the green room, tech booth, and host in real time
๐งน Cleanup Crew
Help us close out the night on a high note.
- Pack away décor, tech equipment, and refreshment tables
- Return the sanctuary's chairs and tables to their normal layout
- Sweep and tidy the sanctuary and green room
