Feeding our Neighbors
... for I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink... Matthew 25:35
Person 2 Person
One of Person to Person’s main goals is to provide healthy, nutritious food. P2P’s four food pantries, including neighborhood pantries in Darien and Norwalk, and two mobile pantries serving Stamford residents, are at the heart of their hands-on food assistance program. Christ Church Angel Pantry
To further strengthen the partnership with St. Paul's sister church - Christ Church, East Norwalk, offerings of nonperishable food are collected each week at church services, and delivered to Christ Church to help keep their pantry shelves stocked. Help out by bringing a pantry item with you to church, volunteer to deliver the food or help out at the Angel Pantry. Contact the Parish Office for more information.
Glory Bound
Glory Bound is a ministry led by husband-and-wife team Wayne and Marilyn LeBlanc, dedicated to restoring dignity and hope to those in need. Their work spans a nationally recognized car-donation program, street-level meal distribution in Norwalk, and support for children in Ethiopia and India. St. Paul's volunteers serve alongside Glory Bound by preparing and distributing sandwiches to those experiencing homelessness. Three rotating teams make sandwiches twice a month and help with distribution on the fourth Sunday of each month. Contact the Parish Office to volunteer.
