Chorister Program

The Chorister Program at offers a free opportunity for all children in grades 2-12 who love to sing to grow in their musical abilities alongside a group of their peers in a positive and supportive environment.

How our program works

Our Chorister Program has two designations "Choristers" and "Choral Scholars." Choristers are any children in grades 2-12 who want to sing. Within the Chorister designations we have Choristers and Novices. Novices are those who are new to the program and Choristers are those who are more experienced. Choral Scholars are a paid group of six, typically high-school aged, singers that have demonstrated strong musical and leadership skills. Choral scholars are typically auditioned and chosen from the group. If you know anyone you think might make an excellent Choral Scholar, please reach out to music@stpaulsnorwalk.org

Rehearsals & Schedule

The Choristers rehearse twice a week on Tuesdays from 5pm - 6pm and on Thursdays from 4pm - 6pm. The Choral Scholars join the Choristers for Thursday rehearsals. The Choristers & Scholars sing for our Sunday 11am Services roughly every two weeks. We sing varied repertoire including music from the Episcopal & Anglican tradition.
