Vestry news: October 28, 2020

Last week we gave you a quick rundown of what a Vestry is, and how members are chosen. If you missed reading our rundown, here is a repeat! We are also including the link to our description of the position of vestry person.

Current vestry members: Carol Custus, Wally Frey, Mirella Gonzalez, Diane Jellerette, Ryan Kopreski, Donna Lewis, Bryan McBeth, Terri Polley, Lynn Ryan, Rob Walker, Anne Watkins

Parish Wardens work closely with a Rector or Provisional Priest in Charge, often meeting weekly. The Vestry and Officers meet monthly, and when needed. At St. Paul’s our Vestry has met more often as they have considered steps forward following the retirement of a long term Rector, the discernment of who our next clergy leader might be, and how to continue to be a place offering a radical welcome when the pandemic calls us to be church in a new way.

If you have questions about the nominating process, or the position description, please contact Wally Frey: wallyfrey@icloud.com. If you, or someone you know might be considering nomination, please contact Wally Frey.

Dates to remember are Monday, November 30, 2020 the deadline for Names to be given to the Nominating Committee.

St. Paul’s Annual Meeting will be Sunday, January 10, 2021 at 4pm.

As always, please keep St. Paul’s in your prayers, giving particular thanks for those who give their time and talent to this parish!
