Welcome to our website! Two thousand years after Jesus lived among us, the principal ministry of the church must still be one of healing, transformation, and restoration. It must also be one of removing any obstacles that keep people from knowing a richer and fuller life and the experience of God’s all embracing, unconditional love. I hope that what you find as you explore our website is an invitation to visit us at St. Paul's on the Green and learn more about our parish community.

One of our mantras here at St. Paul’s is that we do church differently. At the center of that way of life is the openhandedness with which we welcome all to be part of what we do. Our "outside the box" perspective on belonging boasts a bold celebration of diversity, and the recognition that God has given us this wonderful thing called a brain and, with it, our individual intellectual gifts.

When guests come through our church doors they find this message: All persons who enter this sacred place enter with the promise that they will be free to be who they are. Radical Welcome and intentional hospitality are at the center of every aspect of our mission and ministry and in every point of entry to our life here.

Please accept this hearty invitation to join us for a Sunday or weekday Eucharist, weekly Sunday night Compline (9 PM), Sunday Choral Evensong (offered twice monthly), our special holyday liturgies, seasonal Organ Recitals, a walk on our Labyrinth, a look at our inspired Stations of the Cross, a visit to Angel’s Book Nook, (our onsite bookstore), or just a leisurely stroll through our property and church building.

We are now in the long season of Pentecost, also known as Ordinary Time. Make no mistake, however; there is nothing ordinary (in the sense that we are used to hearing that word) about our God or about St. Paul's. Here you will encounter a community that feeds on a God of abundance and possibility; a community that honors all of God's creation and a community where you are free to enter just as the person God created you to be. We hope you will make time to join us ... from the front path and steps all the way to the table that Christ has set for all of us.

Blessings,

Nicholas Lang+
Rector
