Lunchtime Organ Recitals
Wednesdays - in October and during the season Lent at 12:15 PM (Please note our new time for 2007/2008!)
St. Paul's is pleased to offer two mid-week, lunchtime organ recital series:
Organ in October and OrganPLUS in Lent.   Each series of recitals features St. Paul's
1928 E.M. Skinner Organ which was enlarged in 1992 by John Randolph of Brooklyn.   and newly rebuilt (2006/07) by The Reuter Organ Company of Lawrence, Kansas.
The organ contains more than 3000 individual pipes!
Our October 2007 Series features:
October 3 - Scott Lamlein, Director of Music, Wesley United Methodist Church, Worcester, MA
October 10 - Sonia Kim, Assoc. Organist/Choirmaster,
Christ & Holy Trinity Church, Westport, CT
October 17 - Neal Campbell, Director of Music,
St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Darien, CT
October 24 - John Abdenour, Director of Music,
St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Fairfield, CT
October 31 - Dr. Jody Davis, Director of Music,
First Congregational Church, New Canaan, CT
Each organist plays a half-hour solo recital in the church, followed by a soup/salad luncheon in the Parish Hall.
The Lenten series (February/March 2008)features St. Paul's Music Director Vincent Edwards paired each week with
a different instrumentalist.  
   Both series of recitals are free, but donations are gratefully accepted.   A donation of $5. is suggested for the soup/salad luncheon. Please join us for one or more mid-week recitals.
