Christian Community Action
Offerings of nonperishable food are collected each week at the entrance to the Church. Volunteers deliver the food to CCA’s pantry, which operates five mornings a week to serve the needy of South Norwalk. Our weekly contributions have increased to several hundred bags of food each year.
Meals-on-Wheels
One day each week, volunteers from St. Paul’s on the Green deliver meals to local residents who are homebound due to illness, frailty or disability.
Saint Luke’s Life Works
On several Sundays throughout the year, volunteers gather at St. Paul’s to prepare dinner and travel together to serve the meal at the Women’s Housing Program in Stamford. Festive meals have included summer barbecues and a Halloween dinner prepared and served by our Youth Group.
Christmas Gift Drive for Saint Luke’s Life Works / Bread & Roses
Each year, the St. Paul’s Youth Group organizes a parish-wide Christmas Gift Drive for children served by St. Luke’s LifeWorks, for residents of Gilead House, a transitional residence for adults with psychiatric disabilities, and for persons living with HIV/AIDS at the McKinney Residence of St. Luke’s LifeWorks.
