2024 Spring Training & Gathering Happening Now!
Each spring, the Episcopal Church in CT offers workshops designed to build up the body of Christ in ECCT. This is a wonderful way to connect with the larger church and discover projects to bring to the community of St. Paul's. There are still great trainings available, sign up now for this year's training, which will be held on Zoom and in person and then on April 20, gather in-person for an all-day event at Lincoln Middle School, Meriden, with food, conversation, worship, and a choice of three classes from 20 presenters. In-Person Morning Prayer begins this Friday
Fridays through May 31, 8 am
Beginning this Friday, gather in the church for a peaceful, reflective start to the day with a simple Morning Prayer service, led by parishioners and now offered in-person at St. Paul’s on Friday mornings at 8am. Morning Prayer also continues online on Facebook (Monday/Friday 8:30am) or Zoom (Tuesday/Thursday 8:30am).

St. Paul's History Project Presentation
Sunday, April 21 at 10 and Noon
The History Project of St. Paul's on the Green has been digging into St. Paul's past and is excited to share the information they have discovered.
Did You Know . . . that Connecticut was the second colony to legalize slavery and the last state in New England to abolish slavery (1848)?
Join the group on April 21 during both Coffee Hours as they share more of the fascinating history of St. Paul's on the Green and the surrounding area.

Choral Evensong at St. Paul's!
Sunday April 21, 5 pm
Join the Adult Choir of St. Paul's for the beloved Anglican tradition of Choral Evensong at 5:00pm, with psalms, anthems, hymns, and sung prayers. Featuring music by Sergei Rachmaninoff, Joanna Forbes L'Estrange, Charles V. Stanford, and Stephen Paulus. Festive reception to follow!

Reparations: A Conversation
Tuesday, April 23- 7 pm
The 236th Convention of the Episcopal Church overwhelmingly passed Resolution 7, "Acknowledging and Confronting Systemic Racism, White Supremacy, and Anti-Black Bias in Our Nation and the Episcopal Church in Connecticut." At the 237th convention, a new resolution was passed that acknowledges and reaffirms the previous resolution and, among other things, creates a Reparations Fund. On Tuesday, April 23. The Rev. Dr. Donald Hamer, Co-Convener of the Reparations Task Force and member, Valarie Stanley, will be at St. Paul's on the Green to lead a regional conversation about what that means and why it matters. Make plans now to attend this important discussion.

The Philadelphia Eleven- Another Chance to View
Sunday, April 28 at 2 pm - St. Matthew's Wilton
Last Sunday, folks from around the region gathered at Christ & Holy Trinity, Westport to watch the documentary, The Philadelphia Eleven which chronicles the challenges of the first female candidates ordained by four Episcopal bishops at the Church of the Advocate in Philadelphia, PA on July 29, 1974. If you did not get a chance to attend, (or you just need to see it again) make plans to attend the next viewing at St. Matthew's, Wilton on April 28 at 2 pm. The film will be followed by a conversation, led by the Rev. Dr. Carter Haywood, one of the Philadelphia Eleven.

Springtime Campus Cleanup
Saturday, April 27- 9:30 -11:30 am
To kick off Norwalk's Earth Day Celebration, there will be a campus clean-up at St. Paul's before the celebration on the Green. Grab your gardening gloves and gather in the parking lot for a fun morning of light weeding and mulch spreading.

Treasures in the Churchyard
The Second Annual Treasures in the Churchyard needs you! On Saturday June 22, St. Paul's will again host an antique show & White Elephant sale, complete with activities on site and lunch served in the Undercroft, all to support the mission of the church. Prayer Shawl Ministry
Alternating Tuesdays at Noon in the Guild Room - Next Meeting 4/30/24 at Noon
The members of this ministry meet every other week to create blankets for newly baptized babies and prayer shawls for those in need of them, whether for personal devotion or for pastoral reasons. All skill levels welcome! Contact the parish office for more information.

Person-to-Person provides emergency assistance for families in greater Norwalk. Each week a different item is collected to help stock the pantry shelves. This week's request is Healthy Snacks.
Laundry Love On the first Wednesday of each month, volunteers from area Episcopal churches meet at Giant Laundry to offer hope through clean clothes. Volunteers work 2 hour shifts from 1 - 7 pm. Contact Marsha Dunn for more information.
