The Great Vigil of Easter

In this service, we light and bless the fire from which the Paschal Candle is lit, read together stories of salvation from the Hebrew Bible, renew our Baptismal vows, and celebrate the first Eucharist of Easter with the first shouts of “Alleluia” since Lent began. A dramatic, triumphant event, this service is a wonderful way to begin the Easter season.

Following the service, all are invited to a festive reception in the Parish Hall.
