Spirituality of Aging
November 19 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
An event every month that begins at 7:00pm on day Third of the month, repeating until June 17, 2020
Facilitator Lilian Revel writes:
This is an ongoing conversation group in which we discuss issues of aging. There is a big difference between adding on years and aging. The word aging can be thought of as an active verb and a proactive way of living. Many people grow old without aging, and they often get stuck in a particular time in life. It is important to age actively by really living and having the courage to deal with the particular challenges life offers us. This conversation group may help us become more conscious of the process of aging and deepen the spirituality of it. Each session will begin with by addressing a specific issue of spirituality, followed by any relevant topic the group wishes to discuss. The group meets once a month, on the third Tuesday of every month, at 7pm, in the Guild Room. Everyone is welcome – no age limits. Come try it out.
