Hymn Festival

On October 31, 1517, a German monk named Martin Luther published his 95 Theses and Christianity changed forever: the movement he sparked transformed the face of the Church throughout much of Europe—and eventually beyond.  While the story of the Reformation can be told in many ways, perhaps one of the most interesting ways in which it can be told is through music. Over the course of this hymn festival, we’ll chart the journey from 1517 to 2017—and along the way celebrate the beauty and the diversity of the imperfect but glorious gathering we call the Church.
