The Thales Piano Trio (Ellen Cockerham Riccio, violin; Sara Bennett Wolfe, cello; Daniel Stipe, piano) returns with a tribute to women composers, spanning the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries, featuring Clara Schumann’s lush romanticism; Jennifer Higdon’s striking Pale Yellow and Fiery Red; and Rebecca Clarke’s Piano Trio, one of the most stunning (and least heard) works for this combination of instruments written in the last century.
