10:15am – Young Children’s Get Together

Father Peter Thompson and Marsha Dunn will be hosting a gathering for young children and their families on Sunday, February 4 at 10:15 am, between the 9 am and 11 am services.
We will meet in the St. Hilda Room, a few steps from the Parish Hall. Tasty treats and beverages will be provided for kids and adults alike, and we will have toys for the kids to play with.
The goals for this get together are twofold:
To provide an opportunity to meet each other, particularly those who attend different services. We know that many families have connected with one another already, but there are quite a large number of families with young children in the parish at the moment (something we are very happy about!), and it will be great to get as many of them as possible together in one room.
The other goal is to get a better idea of how we as a parish can best serve families with children age 6 and under. We’d like to ask find out what needs our younger children and their families may have and what sort of programs and events would be most appealing.
