Love Bade Me Welcome: The Music of David Hurd
David Hurd, currently the Organist and Director of Music at St. Mary the Virgin in Manhattan, is one of the most prominent musicians in the Episcopal Church today, and his hymns and anthems are sung regularly at St. Paul’s and parishes throughout the country. Assistant Rector Peter Thompson traces his long career and reflects on some of his most lasting contributions to congregational and choral repertoire.
