Angel Prayer Tree

Our Angel Prayer Tree is in our children’s Chapel of the Angels, a lovely space for families with small children to have a quiet “time out.” At the Angel Prayer Tree you will find Angel Prayer Cards, large enough for a simple prayer request or name, which can be hung on the tree. Hanging an Angel prayer request on our Angel Prayer Tree is especially meaningful for children as the tangible symbols help to deepen our prayer experience. Our “Service Angels”—identified by the sign of a blue ribbon or Fish / Christ symbol—are for all those serving overseas in any capacity whether military, rescue workers, medics or chaplains. You will also see a garland of tiny angels woven throughout the tree, each angel with a name. These are the prayer requests of a bereavement group for parents whose children have died. Everyone is encouraged to visit our Angel Prayer Tree, perhaps to write down some of the prayer requests to add to your personal prayers—yet another way we support one another in our life of prayer in community.
